My name is Lee Ralph, I am owner / inspector of Property Inspections Unlimited. I have lived in the Ottawa area my whole life and am currently located in Richmond Village. I have been in the Home Inspection business for 6 years now and previously was a Canadian Fire Alarm Inspector for 7 years. My Home Inspection Education was obtained through Algonquin College and OAHI for Defect Recognition. I have achieved my Professional Home and Property Inspector (PHPI) status in Canada through the Professional Home and Property Inspectors of Canada (PHPIC).

I am also a WETT Certified inspector which pertains to Wood Burnings Stoves, Fireplaces and other Wood Burning related Appliances.

In the summer of 2011, I completed the Commercial ASTM Standard Building Inspection Course in Toronto offered by Carson Dunlop Weldon Associates which better prepares me for Commercial Building Inspections.

The bulk of my work is in home inspection all over the city and rural areas. I take pride in educating home buyers about issues that arise on inspections and how these issues can be corrected. It is important that clients are present during the inspection process if possible to see first hand the features of the home.

I look forward to meeting with you and helping you make and educated decision on your potential property.

I am excited to be a board member.

My father had me in construction from the age of 13. Working the summers as a laborer.  As I got older my tasks took me to building and General Contracting. I had spent most of my working years self employed in the industry.

I had management position with Sun Media. (Toronto Sun). For about 10 years.

I decided to become a Home Inspector in 2005. I graduated from Carson Dunlop.

5 years ago I joined PHPIC and became an NHI.

I have performed over 4000 building inspections.

I am very happy to be a part of the PHPIC group and the journey we are taking towards licensing Home Inspectors.
